Hi all:

Hi my certification process begins next week. I hope to be underwater by the end of the month.

I have been purchasing equipment, little by little, from various sources. Lots of research and questions. Having fun.

I am a New York boy transplanted to Los Angeles, with a stop over in South Florida. I hope to make some friends and enjoy diving.

See you in the water. :D

Welcome to SB, and to diving.

It's good to have your own gear, but you also might want to hold off a bit while you learn what works for you, and what you really need.

Best wishes on a great adventure!

Welcome to SCUBAboard!

Good Luck & Good Diving.

Awesome! As far as gear, i found some good deals for BCs and such on craigslist as well as complete setups. Got my Sea Quest BC for 150$ and been using it for a while. Anything can be looked over at some dive shops before you use it.

Welcome aboard here and to the underwater world!!!!

Have fun getting that c-card and please feel free to drop on down to our local forum and join in our fun here:
