Dive Rite 10 watt HID Canister light. I just charged the battery up and tested and it works fine. Sorry, i do not know the burn time on the battery. the last time i dove with it was about 20 months ago and it burned the entire time of the dive 40+ minutes.

I have looked all over the internet, I can't find what model that is, the mr11 light head isn't knurled like that. Does anyone know what model light this is?

Wait are you sure that's an HID? Looks like a standard halogen MR11 bulb in there.

Back in the day, Dive Rite had a MR11 HID light head. This would be a perfect light to do a LED upgrade too.

I know that, but that's apparently not what this is. I see a bulb that looks exactly like a 50W halogen MR11 bulb you'd get at Home Depot for $5. The multifaceted reflector, not the smooth one of the DR head. And I don't see the large HID element in the middle.

I could be completely wrong, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

What should it look like, i don't know much about lights. The bulb is very tiny, long and thin with a wire coming out of the top of the bulb and going along the side of the bulb, but not touching the glass bulb. Can anyone tell me if this is not HID? If not it cooks fish! LOL I took more pics of the bulb.

That is HID.
Mine also has same reflector.
But the ballast container has 5 O-rings.
Yours seems to be knurled.
Perhaps older model or converted mag light.
Who cares, what works, works.
BTW HIDs still kick LEDs arses.
