Just stopped into the MWR today to inquire about scuba classes and when they are given. Unfortunately the person that was going to instruct lost his contract with them. This was due to the fact that he was going to charge 300.00 for a basic OW course, to me that is way entirely to much in the beginning.

I will be looking for an instructors course to attend and maybe get some others to join in here. That way we can get this going again. If your interested shoot me a PM.
 
I think your best bet would be to drive down to Tulsa or to Missouri to take classes. Kansas diving sucks worse than Oklahoma diving. As for classes, $300 is the norm. around here for OW. Although I agree that it should be cheaper through MRW.
