We have chartered the coolest live-aboard in the Andaman Sea and are going for a 5-day trip to the Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai - and at least 3 dives at Thailand's best dive site, Richelieu Rock. Harlequin Shrimps, here we come 
A long-term favourite among divers, the Similan Islands offer amazing diving in combination with stunning islands and beaches. Whereas it is possible to visit the islands on day trips, the best way to experience them, is definitely on board a live-aboard, which allows you to visit more remote (and better) dive sites. Also, the beaches are a unique experience when they are almost deserted at sunset.
Taking advantage of Karins 4-year experience in the region, we have planned a trip to the Similan Islands with our travel club. For an optimal experience, we have chartered a lovely live-aboard, so that we a) have a boat to ourselves and b) make our own dive site itinerary.
Well be cruising the Andaman Sea for 5 days and 5 nights, doing 19 dives, and visiting 4 different beaches. We start in the south, where the diving is easier and conditions more benign. Slowly, well make our way north to sites such as Elephant Head Rock, North Point, Koh Bon (famous for frequent manta sightings), Koh Tachai - and Thailands arguably best dive site, Richelieu Rock (famous for critters such as harlequin shrimps and a fair amount of whaleshark encounters). Paul and Karin will be dive staff on this trip, as we both know the dive sites very well
The price is 3.250 AED for the live-aboard trip including accommodation, all meals, tanks & weights, 19 dives.
