Ordered some Tech BCD packages ( TECHNICAL SCUBA BCD PACKAGE @ Divers-Supply.com ; one for me, one for a friend).
Now, I'm in Germany, Divers Supply - Discount Scuba Gear - Snorkeling Equipment - Largest Scuba Diving Equipment Selection! are in the US.
The backplates are on back order, the friend's friend who is in the US (and is going to play carrier) is going to return soon.
So I called.
Asked about time to be back in stock. "Within three weeks." "Ah... the guy who I asked it to be shipped to and who was going to bring it over to .de is returning in 2..." "You at the billing address?" "Yeah!" "They're going there..." "Going to cost me $90 if I remember your shipping calculator right?" "Nope. Sending them straight to you, Sir!"
Oh, total order is less than $600...
I think I'm going to be buying stuff there more often...
