All,
A friend of mine is considering taking a trip to Costa Rica (May 9th, I believe that is the rainy season). for mostly land based attractions, but also some diving. He and his girlfriend are considering staying at a resort in Playa Arenilla in the Gulf Of Papagayo. Could anyone chime in on how the diving is in this area (vis, depths, temp, what to see) and recommended dive operators (safe as opposed to cheap). Also, from reading threads on Costa Rica (I really don't know much about the diving there) it appears the diving is in the intermediate- advanced range (vis, current, temp, depths). Is this the case? Also, how rainy a rainy season are we talking here? Is this rain for part of the day or no chance to to go to the beach without an umbrella every day?
Thanks,
David
