Was traveling from I-75 to I-275 north towards St Pete today and just when we came to the water (right side) on 275 I noticed a personal dive boat not too far from the shore.

Just wondering what kind of diving is there?

Just past the south rest area headed north? Mostly flats. Up a little farther on the right is a jetty the Skyway constructon crews used and right across from the same rest area on the left is a nice little breakwater jetty.

I have heard divers say they would never try diving there again. They arent fans of the rippin currents and large sharks!
I personally dont have any experience diving there but it sounds like an adventure!
