Dry suit in the Keys? I lived in Key West before moving down the island chain. I'm the kind who gets cold easily and survived nicely during the winter months (and stayed warm) in a 5mm without hood or beanie. I did put on a sweatshirt and wool beanie when I got out of the water. By May the water will be much warmer. Save your money on checked luggage and leave that dry suit stuff at home.
