Update: Thanks everyone for the advice. We rented a jeep for the week so I drove into town to Blue Angel and did a shore dive there with a divemaster. It went great and the people were very helpful. The next day I did 2 boat dives with the dive house. I paid an extra $50 to have a personal divemaster Victor. He did a great job and helped me relax. We did a 60' and then a 30' dive by Palancar Reef. Nose bled a little on first dive but other than that things went great! No longer nervous about diving. If anyone is doing their first dive I totally reccoment Victor at the dive house.
