I am moving to Sicily and want to know if anyone knows of any dive shops, diver operators, or great dive locations. Thanks for your help

The place that is usually considered the best for diving in Sicily is the island of Ustica, about 1 hr (if I rembeber correctly) by speed boat from Palermo. It is a small island that has been a marine reserve for many years. I have been there in 2000. It is very nice mediterranean diving wit large groupers, barracuda, nice gorgonoia etc. The underwater scenery is alo very varied with walls, sea mounts, caves (famous is the beautyful Grotta dei Gamberi dive) and large rocks. There are several dive shops which you should be able to find on the internet.

Another place I have heard good reviews about is the island of Marettimo off Trapani.

Hope this helps.
