I have been volunteered to set up a trip for a few of my buddies to dive the Yukon in San Diego. Im looking for recommendations for Hotel and Dive operators in the San Diego area.

Here is our tentative plan,
Leave Friday night and drive down in shifts so that we all at least get some sleep. Check into the hotel and get a bit more sleep. Go to wherever the boat launches from and dive the Yukon on Saturday and then Sunday. Drive home in shifts on Sunday night so we can all be back at work Monday!

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Phil

Hi Phil.

I would recommend dive op: http://www.loisann.com/ (they rent steel 80s and fill nitrox)

My favorite dive boat is the Horizon, but I don't know if they go to the wrecks: http://www.horizoncharters.com/oldsite/index.html

I dove the Yukon last week and it was 54 degrees at depth.

When I was down there about a year ago I dove with Dive Connections. This particular trip was on there small boat(6 pack), and it was a three tank dive( Yukon, Ruby E, and a kelp dive). They have a nice operation, very friendly and ussually have snacks and hot soup after the dives. I believe its 85 for the three tank or 75 for two. Here's there web site: http://gottadive.com/
