Question Diving with a Buddy and logging

Hi All,

i have a question and hopefully someone will be able to shed some light, i noticed some certificate required a number of dives as minimun requiremet, now if someone always dive with a buddy, and always log the dives, those dives can be considered or they need to be done with a DM ?

Logging dives is “Scouts honor”.

Yes buddy dives cab be considered for the minimum dive count. Those dive counts are just there to filter out people who are likely not ready for the cert. The real test will be in the water.

There are lots of us who have never dived with a DM. Just log your dives if you wish.
