OK ... so with three 6000s you can get more than the three full re-fills. So you are going to carry about 500 pounds of bottles, hoses and regulator to save the $8 fill.

Yeah ... that makes sense.
 
We had a reader who told us he was PP mixing his own air and nitrox from scratch, since he already was stocking O2, and found he could get big 6000 psi tanks of nitrogen very cheaply from his gas supplier. At the prices he was paying, even with a couple extra tank leases it was considerably cheaper than a compressor. I think there something about it at the very bottom of the UPDATE AND CORRECTIONS page on the Airspeed Press website.

He wasn't trying to use it for a portable setup, so he didn't have to worry about weight.
