Where can I find a list of places that offer this certification course?

How much does it usually cost?

How long does a cert last and what are the CE requirements?

How usefull is this course for EMTs who won't be doing anything with chambers (ie, field usefullness of training)?

Opinions?

Here is a list of the approved courses. http://www.nbdhmt.org/index_ie.htm

As far as usefullness, that depends. If you see very many diving accidents in your neck of the woods it could be quite useful. I did it more for personal interest than anything. I thought I knew quite a bit before I took the course. It really opens your eyes to a whole new spectrum on diving in general. It really scares the hell out of you when you read the postings going on about O2 Admin. when you see the whole picture and they do not.

I have a list of the CE requirements at work, and I will PM you with them Tues. when I am back there.

I would recommend Hyperbarics International where I took my course. http://www.hyperbaricsinternational.com

Thats where I will go back if I do a refresher.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Chris
