Nice cut away. I'd add that it's pretty clear the orifices are feed by the post valves, and the post valves in turn are feed by the junction of the manifold cross bar and the tank dip tube. There really is no special, huge, straight open bore directly feeding the orifice from the tank under it and some tiny little "capillary" tube supplying "bleed" gas from the other cylinder.

With an open Iso the post valves are in effect connected to one large volume of HP gas made up of both tanks, and the internal volume of the manifold.

Expecting each tank to contribute different amounts of gas when Breathing from a set of manifolded doubles is like dipping a cup in the end of bathtub and expecting it to cause a localized drop in the water level.
