i am finally getting into UK diving (tomorrow in fact) thanks to some guys from this board. So I need to think Dry Suit, I have been doing some research and the suits I like are generally the compressed or crushed neoprene types.

I intend to get into wreck diving, especially if I am regularly diving in the Uk. and then I saw the following drysuit review from Dive Magazine (the specific suit was an O'Three).

First Impressions: "An extra-heavy suit that looks extra well made but it's not for serious wreck divers because we know this material will snag."
Material and Construction: "Compressed neoprene with a nylon facing. Double neoprene over the seams which are glued, stitched and taped. Contoured crotch with material sensibly cut on the bias."

Any body understand their concerns ? Would getting a suit such as a ND DiveMaster or CNX be a mistake if I wanted to do 'serious wreck diving' ?

Basically I think I'll probably end up getting one of these two or the Cortex suit. Any opinions on these suits would be appreciated.

Cheers

Go for membrane. My buddies in the U.K. say Otter Brittanic Super Skins with a thinsulate undersuite is the way to go.

Neoprene, even compressed/crushed neoprene, compresses at depth. Bad.
