I just purchased a new regulator. It came with a factory installed DIN connector and a Yolk adaptor. My question is...should the DIN connector have some sort of dust cap or cover like the Yolk adaptor?
Dust cover or not.

Absolutely! These are available at your LDS for a couple of dollars and look like a screw on cap.
