Eagle Rays

We will be aboard the Belize Sun Dancer the first week of May. This will be our first trip to Belize. Are the Eagle rays in the area year round? Seems Aggressor boasts lots of eagle rays and reef sharks on every trio report I see.

Hi Tammy!! The 3 times we have been there (November & twice in March) there were eagle rays on most dives. On 1 dive in Ambergris Caye we saw 16 in formation and they hung around for over 10 minutes!! Make sure you camera is fully charged. Enjoy the trip and tell your hubbie I said howdy.

I have seen them both times I went to AC in late Nov, though I wasn't on a live aboard.

Saw eagle rays in May last year on all but one of my dives I believe.
