 This summer there were millions of jelly fish and now a friend took this picture in washed up kelp on the south coast of
Newfoundland
I'm guessing its star fish or octopus maybe jelly fish?
any help would be great egg sacs in kelp.jpg

They do look like a jelly of some kind, but with what appears to be a surprising structural integrity. I'll be very interested to see if anyone really knows what they are -- thanks for putting up the picture, though. They're neat looking!

Well I checked on Google and found some convincing photos of sea gooseberries and i going to agree that is what my friend took a picture of.
I cant explain their structural integrity but they do look like the same creature.
thank for the lead
