Dove the Empire Mica in the Gulf of Mexico this past weekend. What an awesome dive. We did three dives with KillFish Charters. Very awesome & knowledgeable captain. We left out of Indian Pass, FL and took about an hour to get to the wreck. Max depth was around 102', and bottom temp was around 72, and top temp around 77. Thermocline around 60'. Lots of Goliath Grouper, red snapper, baracuda, greater amberjack.

The wreck is awesome, takes 3 dives to see it all, 15-20' screw is still in tact.

I highly recommend Eric Thompson of KillFish Charters if you want to dive this wreck. He's reasonable, knowledgeable, and excellent captain.

Yes there has been quite a bit of collapse. We had awesome viz this weekend, probably close to 100'
