Equivalent of Canon A60/70 w/ housing?

Ok, my budget is pretty much in the range of the Canon A60/70 with Canon housing... this hits a total of about US$600-700

2.0-3.2MP range

Are there any other alternatives in this price range with the same MP count? By Sony? Nikon? Or other brands? Thanks!

You could look at the Olympus Mju (Stylus) series (300 & 400) not as much manual control as the A70 tho'

I got my c4000 plus housing (the PT-010, hich is getting a little scarce nowadays I think) for just over $600. Its lacking a few features that the 4040 or 5050 (which you may be able to get for just over 700 - the housing is much cheaper than the PT-010 online now) have, but it is still a decent camera in its own right - plus, it is 4MP (or even 5 for the 5050), which is nice,
