The Magician doesn’t only do dive trips. With all Captain Carl’s marine mammal experience they also do whale watching and birding trips and CIDA thought what better way is there to spend the day with family then a 5 hour whale watching trip.
Channel Islands Dive Adventures has the Magician chartered for a 5 hour Gray Whale, Dolphin, & Sealife Cruise to on Sunday, March 5, 2017. This is something CIDA has always wanted to do so please bring the family and enjoy with us!
The plan is to board at 8:00 am and depart at 9:00 am with us getting back about 2:00 pm
For the Winter-Spring Gray Whale, Dolphin & Sealife cruise we will be following the Gray Whales migrating along our coast. It is estimated that the population of Gray Whales number approximately 20,000 individuals. These whales make their 10-12,000 mile round-trip from their summer feeding grounds in Alaska, down to the warm protected lagoons of Baja California, where they breed and have their babies. Their migratory route brings the whales right along our coast every year during this time.
