Sounds like fun. I once went looking for salt water crocodiles in the Solomons. Going further and further into the darkness, it finally became too spooky for me.
Alas, I did not find any.

Dove with freshwater crocs in Australia (not the fearsome salt water ones) and have been to Myakka several times over the decades my parents and grandparents lived in Sarasota, but never considered diving there!

You my man have a "set" for sure.
I will go diving with a gator or two in the water,
but Deep Hole is just insane.
You are "The Man".

Alligators do not "infest" caves, they were there first.

Both beat the divers.

If the cave was there first, then it was infested by alligators

Pesky critters.

Cave divers are the unnatural infestation. :D
