To use an EXT ring 22 or EXT 40 on a RDX housing requires the Port Base L since each ext ring or NX series port has a bayonet style mount that is different from the RDX locking mount.
So, to answer your questions:
1) Can I use extension ring 22 for my RDX port base S + compact macro port 52? No, the Ext ring 22 can't mount on the Port base S or macro port 52.
2) And I have NX dome port+RDX port base L.Can I use this extention ring either? Yes, you can use the Port base L mounted on the housing + Ext Ring 22 + NX Dome port
