Hi Gustele,

You where probably the first, but no longer the only one seeing a batfish on Curacao - our divers found one at Watamula the other day. I am now waiting for one guest's photos!

Best regards
Andreas

P.S. We found a second seahorse in front of OEW at Alice in Wonderland :)

Hi Andreas

I will be diving Watamula from shore (big jump from the cliff near the big hole in the ground where you can see the water) this Saturday so I will look out for the Batfish there. And for sure I will come look at "your" second seahorse. I will walk in for some directions when being there.

Regards

Hi Gustele,

Did you go to Watamula last weekend - could you find the batfish or maybe the second seahorse at Alice in Wonderland?

Kind regards from Westpoint
Andreas

Hi Andreas

We went to Watamula but found the sea too rough to do a shore dive. Jumping from the cliff was still an option but going through the tunnel to Playa Gepi was no option and probably leaving the water at Playa Gepi would have been very difficult because of the waves.
So we went diving at Westpunt and a second dive at Snake bay. I have to leave the batfish and second seahorse for another time.

Regards
