I have a local person who is looking to sell three Luxfer Aluminum 80s. Two have an original hydro date of 1996 and one from 1986. From reading discussions I see the Luxfer from 1986 would be made from the 6351 alloy and best not to purchase.

The two tanks from 1996 were last hyrdoed and filled in 2003. After purchase I will need to get the hyrdro and viz done on them, which "locally" runs me $30/tank.

What would be a fair market value to offer her for the two tanks?

Offer $100 for all three. Recycle the 6351.

That said in hydro and vis and in descent condition $80-$100 for each would be top $$.
