With my daughter and wife (non-diver). Make up for last year's trip, cancelled by weather and other flight problems (Delta - phoooey!).
 
Having never been to Cozumel in February I am wondering what type of exposure protection is recommended? With water temps hovering around 78 degrees I am thinking a full 3mm wetsuit with maybe a 3mm vest under it should be sufficient. I realize I will probably get a different answer from every person that reads this post, but what are your thoughts?

With diving consecutive days for a week, I always wear at least a full 3mm. Last year and when I arrive in 3 weeks, I'll be wearing my full 5mm. I hate getting the chills when I'm having so much fun. If I start getting hot I just open the neck a little and let some water in. A full suit also protects from accidental reef scrapes.

Got a call from my brother-in-law last week. He and his wife are joining us. Their first trip to COZ. He got his dive cert after looking at my u/w photos 2 years ago. This is gonna be fun!

Praps. We often drive to the caleta. One reason is in hopes of meeting up with the guy who sells iced "posole Maya" from the back of his scooter. If we'd just turn around and boat back to the hotel dock, though, we'll probably skip the drive and do the dock thing.
