Hello All:
I just booked a trip for late April to Taveuni. Have had a scheduling conflict and may have to postpone it until late May. I am needing advice from some "experienced Fiji divers", about the pro's and cons. I've exhausted myself reading every website about "April rain and plankton boom" vs "May decrease in water temps, but better viz".
There appears to be a key change in rainfall, temperature change, and plankton-lowered viz around May.
Am I over-analyzing this, or would the additional 4 weeks make much of a difference?
I realize its the tropics, and there is no "crystal ball" about rain, but if viz and weather are dramatically better, I might pay the ticket transfer charge and delay a bit.
Thanks,
