I just got back from Cancun where I signed up for a 2 tank cavern dive at Dos Ojos. I hadn't dove in 2 summers and only had time for this one dive trip. Of course I've done a bunch of open water and open wrecks and was feeling confident. The guide was very good and the group was small (only four of us). I'm not at all nervous in tight spaces and I like the dark but I still had some issues with the dives. During the first dive I was nervous about not being able to go back on my own without dragging out the whole group and I almost bailed. I had a great time once I calmed down but got very cold toward the end. I did bail on the second dive because I got cold as soon as I hit the water and the thought of being under for 50min was just too much. I guess I'm looking for advice from others here. I loved being in the cavern and I know I should not have made that my first dive in two summers. I'm really trying to figure how to proceed. I want to do this again but now I'm worried about how I'll re-act.
Thanks
