FL-20 Flash with PFL-01 Housing

Hi, is anyone out there using this underwater strobe setup for an Oly C-5050 or -5060?

I recently got mine, and it appears to be working pretty well. I particularly like the direct AUTO TTL setup with the camera.

HOWEVER, the flash housing has about 5 dives on it, and the plastic joint about the knurled net/threaded portion (where it attaches to a support arm) is starting to crack. I am concerned that it will crack all the way through, and fall off the arm.

Since this housing is almost new, I am irritated to say the least, and am about to return it to Olympus for warranty repair.

Has anyone else had this experience??

Yes , mine did exactly the same in about the same no. of dives .
I have since bought a S & S YS 90 Auto and Mikedive TTL Sync Cord
so have not even bothered replacing the flash housing .

I have said I would post some pics with the S&S / Mikedive setup - will
try tomorrowv but can state that it works very well ( only tested macro so far )
