Hope that this is not a duplicate post.

An interesting toy wing to allow you to "fly" underwater: Fly Like an Underwater Superman...Aquaman? with video here: .

In a different forum "IntendingAcceleratio..." posted his/her predictions:
 1. Lots of lost swimsuits
 2. Coral damage from moron's heads, Subwings, feet, the tow cable
 3. Trauma from impacts with coral and other underwater objects
 4. Drownings
 5. Shoulder injuries
 6. Lots of confused dolphins

I'd like to add barotrauma to the list of anticipated/foreseen consequences of this device and to really underscore the prospect of coral damage from the tow cable (at least one instance of cable contact with coral can be seen in the video).

Seems there's another similar SB post titled "New toy = trip to trauma centre". Few mixed comments over there also FYI.

Oh, thanks. Perhaps a mod can merge.

Yep duplicate post - I did the original in the Snorkel / Freediving sub-forum.

Since this is like assisted freediving.

Comments on Gizmodo - people think you can get the bends from this, lol.

I'd be more worried hitting something.
