Force Fin sizing for women

I'm considering purchasing a pair of Force Fin Pros for the wife. I noticed that the smallest size available seems to be a medium. Her regular shoe size is 5.5 to 6 (US size). Any idea if she will need an instep? (She will be using booties, but not sure what type yet. Considering we dive in warm waters, I'm guessing 2-3mm with a hard sole).

My wife is Canadian, and I got her a pair of Medium Force Fin Pros and they fit her perfectly with no comfort pad in 3mm booties with a thin hard sole. She takes size 5 US/Canadian shoe size.

Thanks Mark. I'm not sure how big of a real difference there is between 5 and 5.5, but I'm guessing by your post that we ought to go with a medium as well and if necessary, get thinner booties. Seems like ML would probably be too large.

Or get the ML and inserts - then you have more flexibility to use various boots (or maybe no boots using 2 inserts).
