On June 4th we will be removing debri off the St Lucie reefs in Stuart Fl. We have lots of boats and need of volunteer divers to assist. There will be food and beverages and live entertainment after the dives. To sign up call 321-409-9857 or visit our site.
This event is of great importance since it is the first time that reef management groups and commercial fisherman join together for the porpose of conservation.
we hope to establish a working relationship with them in order to insure their fisheries and the existance of the reef. This is a perfect opurtunity for recreational divers to
work along side biologist and other interesting people. You dont have to be a tech diver or have 2 degrees to attend just a open water certification card and your own gear. If you ever said "somebody should clean up the reefs"? nows your chance.
we can assign groups up to 4 divers to the same boat if groups would like to attend.
this event will be covered by journalist and other media and we welcome sponsorship
as always. The event will get underway from Sand Sprit Park in Stuart at 7:30 AM on
Saturday June 4th 2005. divers should bring a pair of scissors and a knife.
2 tanks should be sufficient. The average depths will be 8-30 ft.
call 321-409-9857 to sign up today 8:am-10:pm mon-sat.
