The Mares V16 first stage distinguishes itself from other regulators by its life-time high pressure seat. The V16 is a balanced diaphragm first stage able to supply constant pressure and high air flow in any working condition. It is covered with a special shock and scratch resistant exterior for penetration dives (wrecks, caves, etc...). There are two high pressure ports to allow a left or right positioning of the pressure gauge, integrated computer, or transmitter for hose-less computers.
The Mares Orbiter second stage has a mesh grid system constructed from chrome and nickel-plated brass. It uses the Mares V.A.D. (Vortex Assisted Design) system, which guarantees a low breathing effort at any depth.
