Hi;

I have recently bought 2 strobes, and are ver happy with the encouraging results; even in the sweet water lakes here in the netherlands.

Ideally I would like to aim my strobes as best possible to get

-even lighting
-correct lighting level
-avaoid backscatter by illuminating only the sides of the subject as much as possible
-in some cases the maximum light on a subject

For this an aiming light with the same opening angle of the strobe would be ideal. Does such a light exist? Or is it not practical, IE one needs too much power. I have 2 led lights now UK mini light eled that work, but not overwhelmingly bright.

I do see that a nice parallel beam light works well with aiming about the center of a subject, but it does not show the illuminated area that the flash will cover.
Or am I asking too much...:huh:

Regards

Karel
