Fundraiser for Gregg

Gregg who owns Woodys on the square had a terrible moto accident a few days ago. He was hit by someone running a stop sign. He suffered severe head trauma. He is in an induced coma at CMC and his medical bills are really adding up. There will be a fundraiser Friday at Woodys to help. --- FUNDRAISER for GREG - APRIL 29th 5pm - 8pm at Woody's ---

As many of you already know, island resident, Greg Lueke, was severely injured in a scooter accident last week. Greg, who is the smiling face behind Woody’s Bar, is now in stable condition; however, he is still in a medically induced coma with a fractured skull.

Woodys will be hosting a happy hour fundraiser to help offset his rising medical expenses on Friday, April 29th from 5 – 8 pm. Light snacks will be provided. You’ll be able to donate to Greg’s care in 2 ways: there will be a collection box or you can simply add 20% to your bill. Woodys is located right in the zocalo, or town square, just north of the clocktower, beside the 7-11.

Thought I would bump this up to the top today. Fundraiser is tonight from 5-8. Sarah from Cozumel Watercolors will be selling t shirts and will donate a portion to Greggs fund. She is a talented artist. I heard from an island friend that Wet Wendys will also be collecting for Gregg.
Gregg is doing much better but he still has a long way to go!
