For anyone out there with a Salvo canister HID, if you have problems with the latch (rusting through) the latches Ikelite uses on their DSLR cases are identical (except for the rusting part!) and can be interchanged. I just replaced both latches on my light and it is as good as new after suffering a failure of one of the latches (luckily in my dive bag and not underwater!)!
