Hi, I recently changed my Galileo sol battery (and O ring) about a month ago. I was diving in Hawaii last week and my Sol suddenly gave me a low battery warning on my second dive. After I came out and rinsed my gear later that afternoon, it no longer said low battery but the battery indicator was now 2 bars down rather than full. Is this just a battery issue? Do I need to reset something after changing batteries? Does the galileo need to be sent in?

Thanks!

While it is possible to have gotten a weak battery, you can check the battery reading by accessing your Sol's device information. When you access the device information the battery voltage is checked and the battery level icon is reset, if necessary.

Clammy, mine did the exact same thing and I was going to return the battery and complain, but after a few dives, it went to full and has stayed there for 50 dives.
Good Luck,
Gary
