Gates Housing GHS (Sony TRV-900)

I just purchase this case: For Sale: Sony TRV900 Video Camera (TRV-900) and Gates Underwater Housing - Classifieds for the old Sony TRV-900 anyone knows it if is possible to fit the latest Sony FDR-AX700 or Sony FDR-AX100E?

I'm obviously going to replace the o-rings for all the mechanical parts, and do a hydro test first before actually putting the camera in and trying it under water. But I am just curious if anyone has gone down this path as well? The case is typically around $1200 and brand new about 17 years ago was $3000.

I would urge you to contact the company in San Diego California.

It has been a number of years since I have had direct contact with the fonder of the company Elwyn Gates. I suspect he has sold and moved on -- He was always most helpful.
