GEO no sound

somebody is selling me his 1 yr old GEO but when i set the alarm (watch mode) it doesn't makes any sound, I tried different time as well as replacing the battery but it still doesn't make any sound/alarm. though I have not yet tested it underwater probably next week i will try to check it underwater .....any advise ?

This is pretty basic, but have you checked the ON/OFF setting for audible alarms?

thanks for the reply... I already returned it to the local dealer...and the money was refunded to me in full. It seems there's a problem with the unit... I was contemplating on getting the Tusa Zen the other day but i don't like its bracelet and doesn't display the date unless you press another button...Bottom line I ended getting a new GEO just moments ago. I like the big display as well as its color combination (i took the black w/yellow color).

Out of the box I got a hard time setting the alternate time and alarm...i remove the battery and put it back again and finally it works, but somehow i'm a bit worried is it normal ?

I had to send my GEO back to Oceanic twice with issues. The first time Oceanic replaced it. Now I' m waiting to see what happens. My LDS has been awesome dealing with the situation.:blessing: I really like my GEO and I can say it has NOT failed underwater EVER. I really hope that this is the last time I will have to send it back to Oceanic.
