Getting rid of the "2"

Is it possible to get rid of the "2" in my board name "Barracuda2"? When I joined, the name "Barracuda" was taken, so I put a "2" after it in order to register. I have never seen "Barracuda" on the board since I joined, so maybe he/she is inactive. Ber rabbit said that I might possibly get it changed. On the other hand, if I did change it, will it only add to confusion. I wait on your reply and advise. thanks.

Member accounts are only removed if they are in violation of the tos or fail to activate their account initially. Many members post only a few times and use their account to search or save threads or do other things and thus removing them causes a lot of problems. I can change your name to something else like Barracuda NW or something to that effect but not to an existing name, sorry.
