I wrote what I think is an informative popular science article on the Solenostomidae, the ghost pipefishes. I compiled a significant part of the scientific literature on these fishes (which is not much - many things about them are still unknown!). Besides their amazing ways of camouflaging themselves, their reproductive biology is unusual and interesting. Check it out please!

The article is published in Underwater Photography Magazine, you have to register and download the pdf to read it, but that effort is worth it, this is generally an excellent magazine imo.
