Good review there, I do have an EOM single and 3D housing and found them to be the best until I stumbled onto the Blurfix which has a few mentions on this forum. Still the EOM 3D housing is the only available that can shoot in 720p vignette free in 3d underwater and produces great results like this.

Need to view at youtube for 3D options
Main advantage of the blurfix over the EOM is that its got a removable glass filter, which you can replace with any other 55mm filter. These needs to be low profile to be vignette free in r3 and it also has a little less vignetting in r4 and photo modes compared to the EOM. On land you can use filters like a circular polariser or ND filter for better image quality or unscrew the filter and have vignette free photos and r4 just using the stock round lens.
I also find the EOM a real pain to try and get any dust out from inside the housing due to the undercut design and the plastic can scratch up which could make the complete housing useless.
Here is my little comparison of the Blurfix against a stock housing, I am currently putting together a test with the EOM, Blurfix, oculus 1080p and a stock gopro housing to see the differences between them in all modes.
