You should try tacos at ElPique, on 30th and Los Otates on 10th(?). Very cheap eats, Otates is open for lunch and dinner ElPique after 7pm. Dinner for 2 with lots of beer under $10. Our favorite "nicer" restaurants are Kinta and Pie Del Carbon, both on 5th near 6th. Kinta has a great outdoor garden exceptional food, Chris is a great host and chef. Pie del Carbon is a steakhouse with a great wine list. There is outdoor dining on the sidewalk in front. Both are on the pricey side, dinner for 2 with wine might be between $60-$70. Everything is casual in Cozumel unless you are staying at an AI where they make you get more dressed up for dinner. Shorts and a tee shirt will do in most every restaurant. Enjoy your trip.
