Going to drink the kool-aid - GUE style!

Randy and I are registered to take the GUE Fundamentals in October with Guy Shockey and Mark Messersmith. Time to drink the Kool-Aid!
Alan from IDC will be doing his GUE instructor internship while we are there too...
All together that makes 3 great instructors!

Guy is a local (island) GUE instructor with several years experience and has participated in many global archeological expeditions and explorations.

Mark is Co-Training Director and gas diver for the Woodville Karst Plains Project and an active GUE instructor trainer in many different GUE disciplines.

Alan, well everyone knows Alan from IDC ;-)

Don't do it!!! You are making a big mistake. Your diving will improve. You will have more confidence in your abilities as a diver. You might even end up knowing what you are doing. Other divers will think you are cool... well some will .

Cool, have fun with the course, you will enjoy it.

Oh, you'll have a fantastic class! Guy's an extremely nice man who's focused on helping divers become better, and Mark is a kick. I had the good fortune to spend time in their company during the GUE event in Mexico in April, and enjoyed both of them enormously.

Good for you, having someone like Mark Messersmith sharing his knowledge and experience will be a big plus. Don't forget to post a course report when you done.

That's sooooo weird! I'M doing a Fundies with Guy, Mark, and Alan in Victoria in early October TOOOO!

I wonder if it's the same one...:shocked2:

(PM if you're in town and want to do some practice or fun dives. There's a big group willing and ready to help tweak us all up to snuff.)
