good boats in monterey?

Hey all-
Been a while, it’s good to be back.
I’m trying to set up a boat dive for myself and two other relatively inexperienced OW divers. Both do have some experience diving Monterey, but this will be the first boat dive here for all three of us. All three of us have boat dive experience in warm water.

Anyway, looking for a good experience on our first boat dive and would appreciate any input. Planning on going mid-august.

You need to find out what sort of trip they have planned for that day so you
aren't over your head.

Ask questions:
Do you expect to have technical divers on board?
Do you have a class booked? What kind of class?
...
