Good-bye Langley Diving

:depressed: Sad news, but Langley Diving is closing its doors for good at the end of July.

To Les Newman, the owner, I wish him all the best in his second retirement. Fortunately I guess, he isn't closing as some sign of the economic times, rather Les was just ready to enjoy a slower pace of life and you can't begrudge that. Life is to short to spend all your dives kneeling in the muck watching students do mask removal skills!
Whatever the reason though, I am bummed because I am losing my LDS that was literally five minutes from home.

Thanks for the memories Les and all your staff, you will be missed.

Sorry to be a vulture, but does anyone have any comments on the clearance sale? What's left, what kind of discounts?

I'm out in Vancouver but debating whether it'd be worth driving up the valley to check it out.
