I bought one of the earlier chinese lights (started looking at end of season 2 years ago and finally bought me a MJ850 1200lm version)

After first issues with my lamp I got one (on guarantee) that works like a charm. I now have done 8 dives since last recharge and no issues since mid last year. I have the story on my blog, and if I get requests I will check the new lamps and new prices in China.

The lights suggested above look quite decent. I am not so easily impressed by a pricetag and a dealership close-by.

I bought a dive light on ebay made of stainless steel made by cree. I paid $13 plus shipping and its better than name brand lights. Everyone compliments on how nice and bright it is. It's also led it's surprising because it came from Thailand
