I'm in the process of setting up my GOPRO 12 with some of your recommended scuba settings. I seen it mentioned in a few different videos but I can't seem to access the menu to change between the different settings with the camera in the dive case. All I can get is to switch between photo, video and time lapse. Is it possible to do this with the 12?

You have 2 options:

1. Presets. Set presets to whatever you like pre-dive and then during the dive you can change preset by keeping the side (power) button pressed and then press once the recording button. Release both buttons and then you can go to the next preset by pressing the power button. Once you find the desired preset, press the record button to select it.

2. You can use QR codes (printed and laminated) to experiment with different settings etc... Far from ideal, but I think it is the only way if you want to experiment underwater. More info in https://gopro.github.io/labs/control/custom/

These are for GoPro11 but I guess 12 should be very similar (if not the same).
