Just completed my Open Water cert on a cruise in the Caribbean. Did my book work and confined dives with Diver's Den in Lake Orion, MI last November. In February I did my first two referral OW dives in Curacao. I did my second two dives the next day in Aruba.
I'm 64 years old and am starting diving rather late in life but I'm finally getting around to it. Since my wife and I go on a couple cruises a year and have been all over the Caribbean snorkeling I decided I really wanted to see the islands from underwater.
While I may start diving elsewhere my intention in getting certified is to dive on cruises as we revisit the different ports.
